Capital Lakefair
Where: Heritage Park, Olympia
When: July 12–16
Cost: Free admission; carnival rides, vendor offerings and food cost additional.
What: 60 years ago the Capital Lakefair was started as a way to beat the summer boredom and it’s been part of the community ever since. This five-day festival is full of activities including a car show, parade, volleyball tournament and more, ending on Sunday night with a spectacular firework show over the lake.

Cost: Kids 5 and under are free, youth $5, seniors $6 and adults $7
What: This annual summer event packs plenty of activities and entertainment into five days of fun! From live music and concerts to games and food, the Thurston County Fair has it all. Come for all five days or spend one entire day exploring everything the fair has to offer; there is plenty to do to keep you entertained!
